Our arrival was made smooth by Aura - Mario's housekeeper. She met us, brought us to the house, and even took us to the one (and probably only!) open restaurant in the area at a very late hour of our arrival. (I am very thankful to her!) Communication with Mario was easy and helpful.

We really enjoyed staying at Mario's studio apartment. It's in a great location in Trastevere, with numerous bars, restaurants, and shops practically on the door step. We particularly enjoyed daily morning (email hidden)/Caffe right outside the studio front door! The studio itself is really cute and had everything we needed, including all necessary kitchen equipment and utensils for eating in - which we did twice in a four night stay. The studio also has exclusive access to a roof terrace, which was a great plus for us. In short, this is a great little studio for couples or someone on their own, in a great location for seeing all of Rome's main attractions (and some hidden gems too). Mario has been a great host throughout, always quick to communicate or reply to any queries or questions. While he could not meet us for our arrival, his assistant Daniele greeted us and showed us around the studio. Mario stopped in to say hi during our stay, and he also has plenty of great brochures, books, and maps ready at the studio for you to get exploring Rome!! Mario was a great host!
